“Saguaro”
Saguaro, sentinels of the Sonoran Desert, are studies in contrast. Their sensual skin is protected by a network of long, very sharp needles. Despite this, they are hosts of numerous creatures, especially birds and rodents. The juxtaposition of the sharp and sensual is what I portray in my prints of the Saguaro.
